The development of the Leiden Bio Science Park is managed by a small organisation, the foundation Leiden - life meets science.

The develoment organisation aims to promote the park, strengthen Leiden’s economic and scientific base and to increase the innovative capacity of its life science cluster.

The development organisation has aims to rank the Leiden Bio Science Park among the top life science parks in the world. The region’s and the country’s economy, and society as a whole, will reap the benefits of its existence.

An action program with 6 program lines sets the agenda:

• Marketing and acquisition
• Labor market and education 
• Knowledge, new business and start-ups 
• International alliances 
• City planning, infrastructure and facilities at Leiden’s Bio Science Park
