Leiden is proud of its Bio Science Park, which supplements Leiden’s other assets such as its beautiful historic centre.
Not only does it house our University and Medical Centre, which have an excellent international reputation, but it is also home to internationally renowned life science companies like Centocor, Crucell and OctoPlus.
This underlines once more the knowledge-intensive character of the region. We are also quite pleased to have one of the best and fastest growing laboratory schools in the country.
