The start of the Bioscience Park in Leiden was accomplished with the beginning of the ABC building and the start of Centocor in Leiden.
This incubator ‘avant la lettre’ was thus very important for the start of one of the best BioScience Parks in the world.
ABC has grown companies like Pharming, OctoPlus and a lot of other ones. With the knowledge gained we were able to start a new facility, in 2001 the BioPartner Center Leiden. The building in which at this moment 15 companies are located is growing the biotech’s of the future, companies as Prosensa, Service XS and others are offered ready to work start up facilities, as completely established labs, autoclave, fume cabinets, canteen, reception desk etc as well as an extensive network of companies inside the incubator as well as outside in the Science Park are available to them.
