The Bètabanenmarkt is an annual job and information market for bachelors, masters, PhD students and post-docs of the Faculty of Science of the University of Leiden. The purpose of the event is to stimulate the contact between the students and  companies and agencies, so that the students can prepare their selves on life after the university. The event will be held on the 14th of March in the Gorleaus building on the bio science park of Leiden.

Due to its relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, the Bètabanenmarkt succeeds every year in establishing fruitful interactions between students and potential employers and is the ideal opportunity for companies to present themselves. It attracts hundreds of Leiden’s students with a background in one of the nine different studies, namely Bio Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biology, Bio Medical Sciences, Informatics, Life Science and Technology, Molecular Science and Technology, Physics, Astronomy and Mathematics.

The presentation, given by the chairman of the Bètabanenmarkt Mohamed Bahida, will cover the content and the possibilities of participating in the Bètabanenmarkt. He will also talk about the importance of being involved with students and young people.
