LURIS presents booklet ‘The Appliance of Science’
Successful societal and commercial application of research from Leiden University and LUMC

Leiden University and Leiden University Medical Center are proud of all research that finds an application in society, the so-called valorization of academic knowledge. In this process, companies play an essential role in inspiration and partnership. They have compiled a booklet demonstrating fruitful collaborations, highlighting successful spin-offs, and also showing how valorization and fundamental research are mutually beneficial partners.

During this Life Sciences Café they would like to present this booklet and highlight a few of these successes which have emerged over the past 25 years to our Leiden neighbors and partners.

To attend our Life Sciences Cafés on a regular basis, it is necessary to become a member. Membership costs € 100 (ex. VAT) per year for company representatives and € 50 (ex. VAT) for members from knowledge institutions.
