Leadership development course: The way to become an authentic leader
Many organisations are managed by leaders with strong ego’s. However the role of the leader cannot be separated from the unconscious self. The decisions of the leader are not only derived from rational thinking, but also by his past, by significant events, the development of his norms and values, his surroundings and relationships. There is an inner tension between his personality (ego) and his unconscious self, that directly influences the behaviour of the leader.
If an organisation cannot develop further then how far this leader has developed himself
The leader who is not conscious about his unconsciousness will steer from his ego. Indirectly that will block the development of personal talents of the individuals within the organisation and will limit community formation. Finally this will result in a identity crisis form its leader and the organisation. Each change, re-organisation or adjustment of the targets of the organisation will be extremely difficult.
How do you find your inner pathway?
The leader who is taking the challenge to find his unconscious self and who is discovering which way his personality (ego) is leading, will discover a leadership potential that will motivate the power of people and that will forcefully support community formation.
Organisations exist of humans, and every human has a potential of talents, but is also a source of positive and negative emotions, that are sometimes functional but often distracting or even destructive. Every human that loses the control over negative emotions like anger, fear, jealousy or rage, permit that his feelings are taking over. This are the instruments of the ego, that prevent the realisation of authenticity.
The leader that recognize his unconscious self and curiously observers and analysis those emotions of himself of from another without becoming that emotion will become himself independent of organisation structure or environment situation.
What is your development path during the leadership course?
In the leadership course The Way to Inspired Leadership we explore the personality of the ego and the unconscious self of the leader. The personality will by analysed with archetypes. Through the inner path of the unconscious self 3 principles will be analysed:
a. The I of the leader
b. The process and principles of value formation of the leader
c. The process and principles of community formation of the leader
By symbolic constellations and organisation constellations we will explore the themes in the organisations. In practical exercises the participants will discover and recognize their themes as an individual and in his or her role as leader and also discover new perspectives. In this way we create the basis for openness for inspiration for the future.
