During the 3rd Life Sciences Café of this year, Batavia Bioservices BV, a limited liability spin-out company from the TNO organization that is fully operational since January first of this year, will give a detailed overview of the services provided.
The company offers services comprising (early) process development and product validation for all classes of biopharmaceuticals up to and including IND (investigational new drug dossier), as well as the transfer and implementation of pre-clinical products to its strategic partners both in Europe and in the USA.
The R&D activities of the company are carried out at our state-of-the-art laboratories and office facilities in the Gaubius laboratory in Leiden, the Netherlands (Bioscience park). As such, the company has taken all the personnel and equipment working in the biopharmaceutical process development area from the TNO organization to smoothly transition the existing business.
